4. User Accounts
RemoteMe accounts are created and provisioned by REMOTEME AI LLC on behalf of our users as part of an existing business relationship. If you have an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity under your account.
5. SMS Text Messaging and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Program description. REMOTEME AI LLC uses SMS text messaging to deliver one-time passcodes (OTP) for two-factor authentication. These messages are sent solely to verify a user's identity when they log into their RemoteMe account. They are transactional security messages. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.
How accounts and phone numbers are provisioned and how you consent. RemoteMe accounts are created by REMOTEME AI LLC on behalf of users as part of an existing business relationship, and the mobile phone number used for two-factor authentication is supplied and recorded as part of that relationship. By accepting these Terms & Conditions when you first access your account, you consent to receive automated one-time authentication codes via SMS at the mobile number associated with your account.
When messages are sent and how often. A one-time authentication code is sent only when the associated user attempts to log into their RemoteMe account. Message frequency depends on your own login activity — typically one message per login attempt.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out and getting help. You can opt out of these messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, you will no longer receive authentication codes via SMS, which may affect your ability to complete two-factor authentication; contact us for alternative login options. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at help@remoteme.app.
Privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver authentication codes and operate this service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Payments and Billing
If you purchase products or services from us, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations, if applicable, are handled according to our posted refund policy or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
8. Limitation of Liability
